TECHNICAL FILMS

These films are intended for protection of objects and structures against moisture, dust, pollution and other impacts. They can be used in various branches such as the construction industry, agriculture or wood-processing industry. The fitness of the film for use for the specific application must be always tested.

Films are weldable by heat without any surface treatment. We recommend consulting with the agent when ordering regarding a requirement on treatment for application of adhesives. The films are resistant against most common chemical substances at normal and high temperature, they are moisture resistant and have good electro-insulating properties.

SEPATEN^® is the registered trade name for blown films made of LDPE with different rate of recycled resin; with higher rate of recycled resin the price is lower, but the appearance and properties worsen, mechanical properties and durability are lower, too. We recommend consulting every particular application with the agent.

GRANOTEN^® N is the registered trade name for blown non-shrinkable film of LDPE. These films are fit for covering and for simple technical use. For outdoor application, the service life of the film can be enhanced by adding UV stabilizer. The film stabilized in this way can serve for example for construction of greenhouses.

COVER FILMS

Cover films usually serve as protection against weather conditions and against contamination in household, agriculture, building industry or hobby activities etc.

Cover films are made of LDPE under the registered trade name GRANOTEN^®. The films are resistant against most common chemical substances at normal and high temperature; they are moisture resistant and have good electro-insulating properties. It is necessary to protect the cover film from sharp objects and from the effect of radiant heat. When cover films are exposed to weather conditions, UV radiation can cause degradation and unwanted change of film properties. It is possible to prolong the life cycle of cover film through UV additive; we recommend consulting this modification with the agent at ordering.

Packaging	Rolls packed on pallets, protected and fixed with strapping band, palletising hood or stretch film. Cover films packed into cartons and placed on a pallet.
Ecology	Unobjectionable for environment, recyclable, films can be deposited in dumps or combusted – no harmful substances appear.
Contact with Foodstuffs	Unobjectionable for health, but not advised for direct contact with foodstuffs.
